2025-2026 Annual Appeal
Your donation makes PTO programs possible!
Did you know that the Lawrence PTO spends over $200 per student each year to fund enrichment programs, field trips, community-building efforts, and student assistance that help make Lawrence School the exceptional place that it is today?
Our target this year is to raise $50,000 by November 14th, or ~40% of our annual budget, to make all of these great experiences possible for our children. We cannot reach this goal without your support - please click here to make a gift today!
Your gift can do so much:
$2,500 can fund two presentations from performing artists, or subsidize 50% of the 7th grade trip to Farm School.
$1,200 can provide a school-wide license for math resources, field-trip buses for one grade, or one year of aquarium maintenance.
$600 can provide classroom supplies for a new teacher, or a new collection of library books from diverse authors.
$400 can provide funds to cover the amount the PTO spends on TWO children each year. Give in honor of your child plus another deserving student.

Last Year’s Impact
Supporting Literacy at Lawrence: The PTO funded 200+ new books for the Lawrence Library and upgraded the Literacy Room with $500+ in curriculum materials, online resources, and small-group supplies. We also purchased a Lexia license to support Grade 1 literacy instruction—helping our youngest learners build strong reading foundations.
Supporting our Teachers: At Lawrence, we believe in ‘off and away’ during the school day for mobile phones and devices. The PTO purchased new cell phone lockers for Middle Schoolers to help focus during their day.
Supporting our School: $550 has helped to make our School Garden a place where all students (especially 4th Graders) can learn about taking care of and growing plants, vegetables and herbs.
Supporting our Students: The PTO provided nearly $2,000 in financial assistance for families in need—covering school supplies, clothing, groceries, and $1,320 in holiday support for Thanksgiving meals and winter gifts.
Supporting our Middle Schoolers: We invested $1,290 to provide student planners for every middle schooler, promoting organization, accountability, and academic success.
Supporting Next Steps: Through the Nathan Purpel College Scholarship, the PTO awarded $1,500 to a Lawrence alum graduating from Brookline High School.
Supporting the Fun: $700 from the PTO covered another full year of fish tank care-cleaning, maintenance, and new fish!
Supporting the Arts: The PTO funded $2,000 for performing arts enrichment, bringing live performances directly into school for grades K-5.
