Join discussion of public education in Brookline – April 13, 2016

The Following message is from a group of parents at Lawrence, inviting you to an informational session.

Come join Lawrence educators and parents for a shared discussion of public education in Brookline:

How did we get here–and where do we want to go?

Brookline teachers, School Committee members, administrators, and parents all want the best education possible for our Brookline kids.  How did we end up with a stalled contract negotiation, multiple administrative vacancies, low teacher morale, and town-wide frustration?  What is our route forward?

Come join a discussion about the challenges of the current moment and about the future of public education in Brookline.  What do we want that future to look like?  How can we seize this opportunity to work together to make that future bright?

Lawrence educators/BEU members will share their thoughts on current challenges, future goals, and opportunities for parent support and involvement.  A moderated panel discussion will be followed by time for parent comments and questions.
