LAWRENCE HIGHLIGHTS
- PTO Meeting January 23, 7pm in the school Library: “Smartphones and Social Media”
- The guest speakers for this event are B-PEN (Brookline Parent Education Network) and an AWARE officer from Brookline Police department. This talk will be about cell phones, social media, cyber bullying, and more. This is very much in tune with what has been going on recently with the videos that went viral a few weeks ago by BHS students. Please mark your calendar to join us for this important meeting.
- BEF Saker Author Coming to Lawrence
- Brookline Education Foundation is generously providing Lawrence students in grades 2 – 5 with this author visit on January 30.
The visiting author is Jarrett Krosoczka, who wrote and illustrated the popular Lunch Lady series among other books. He will speak to students about his journey to become an author and about his work creating graphic novels.
We are so grateful to the BEF for coordinating this opportunity for our students!

- Phonathon
- There is still time to make a donation to Lawrence’s biggest fundraiser of the year! Your contribution will go towards PTO funding which supports teacher stipends, intramural sports, bus transports for field trips, grants for teachers, visual and performing arts, and much more.
