Thanks to everyone who sent in their application to be considered for principal search committee selection.  We received a strong pool of candidates which made it a very difficult decision to make, but at the same time we felt very strong as a community to have involved parents like you.  Lawrence School PTO officers, Board members and  School Council members have chosen the parent representatives for the principal search to be as follows:

    • Heather Hoganson

  • BEF 5th-Grade Spelling Bee Recap
    • Congratulations to the talented fifth-graders we had at the 20th Annual Brookline Education Foundation Spelling Bee on Sunday, March 12! 54 spellers from all eight elementary schools battled it out in our longest bee yet, going 14 rounds until our winner, Alana Cummings of Driscoll, spelled “mediocre” to take first place. Quinn Kennedy of Runkle finished second. Congratulations to all the participants, who made this event our most successful Spelling Bee yet! Thank you!
