You CAN run the Boston Marathon! The Brookline Education Foundation is seeking runners for the 2016 Boston Marathon. Receive amazing training and camaraderie from Team Brookline, all while supporting excellence in our Brookline public schools. If you or someone you know is interested, contact Team Brookline (html link: http://www.teambrookline.org) today! Deadline for applications is September 30.

The Lawrence School Directory is now available online to all families.  Parents should have received an e-mail from Lawrence Directory explaining how to access the system and verify, add or edit their family information as they choose.  This e-mail includes a username and temporary password giving them access.  Especially helpful this year is for families to enter their child’s classroom / teacher assignment since class lists are no longer sent out in advance.   If families choose NOT to be included in the Directory at all, please contact the Directory team,  Robin LeWinter or Pamela Iguchi, to be removed from the database.

Something to share? If you have an item you’d like considered for inclusion in the Monday Update, please submit information to our PTO email.  The weekly deadline is Thursday at 12:00 noon, for the following week.
