I work one-on-one with students on essays, research writing, and creative writing. I also help those struggling with homework organization and task management. I’m devoted to a diverse range of students—some challenged by mild disabilities, some struggling with writing and deadlines, and some seeking special writing projects. I collaborate with teachers to foster a supportive community around each student. Prior to our move, I served students attending Lexington High School, BB&N, Belmont Hill School, Belmont High School, and Dana Hall School. My holistic approach has helped many students triumph over difficult work. A special note to 8th grade families: Many middle school students struggle with the transition to high school. During this vulnerable time, I support students’ self-esteem while developing their writing and organizational skills for larger challenges ahead. NEW FAMILY WELCOME POINT PERSON:
Join Lawrence's New Family Welcome by being a first point of contact to families new to Lawrence. The welcome team is in search of 1 or 2 more members to help with school tours, showing new families around the school and answering any questions they may have. Tours currently occur one Tuesday per month at 8:15 (after drop-off) and one Thursday at 1:40 (before pick-up), so anyone who can commit to two or three of those per semester would be a big help! The welcome team would appreciate any help, but is seeking a middle school parent/caregiver, in particular, to add to the range of experience available to new families. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to get involved.
