Join us for The Breakfast (Book) Club, a new event at Lawrence School on Friday, May 13th. The event, which will be held from 8:00-9:00 am in the library, offers parents and teachers a chance to come together and talk about raising children in today’s world and to enjoy a breakfast catered by the PTO.
Guests will have the opportunity to discuss one of two books, Raising Cain by Michael Thompson or Odd Girl Out by Rachel Simmons. (see Amazon links below) Both authors are scheduled to speak as part of the Brookline PTO Speaker Series in the spring. Michael Thompson will be speaking on April 12th and Rachel Simmons will be speaking on May 11th.
Title One has generously offered to purchase copies of both books; 10 copies of each book will be available in the Lawrence library.
