Challenger Baseball – Brookline
September 10 – October 24, 2016
Baseball Fun for children with a wide range of abilities. The Sean Roberts Baseball Challenger League based in Brookline welcomes children with disabilities ages 7 and up. Registration preference will be given to Brookline Residents and/or students who attend school in Brookline. Neighboring towns are welcome to join if there is space available. No experience necessary, no limitation too great. Children with intellectual, physical, emotional and behavioral challenges can all enjoy being part of a team in this relaxed, supportive environment.
Coaching is provided by parents and volunteers, who are welcome volunteers to assist the children on the field. The volunteers are made up of siblings, family, friends and students seeking community service opportunities.
Sean Roberts Challenger Baseball is a division of Brookline Youth Baseball. Little League fees are required, but Challenger Players do pay significantly less than the standard fee. The fee covers insurance for all players, field maintenance, uniforms, etc.
Registration fee is $50. If you need to request a full or partial fee waiver because of financial hardship, just let me know. Please register on the BYB Website – http://brooklineyouthbaseball.org/
All players will receive a uniform t-shirt and a cap. Players must provide their own glove. Bats and batting helmets are provided. We do have extra gloves available to borrow if you need one.
