Learn To Play Bluegrass/Traditional Music with a Ensemble of Brookline Families (a.k.a., The Muddy River Ramblers)
Join our group of Brookline families as we learn and play bluegrass and traditional music during engaging “jam session” classes. Three professional musicians play a song then teach it by ear to our violin (fiddle), cello, and guitar/ukulele players. Banjos and mandolins are also welcome. Classes are hosted about every other week by members. The first of seven classes is on January 31 (3:00 to 4:30). For more information, contact Kate Risse (katherine.risse@tufts.edu) and Rob Guillemin (rob.guillemin@gmail.com) or visit our website at http://www.sites.google.com/site/familyfolkjam/home
