Farmers To You is a delicious blend of community supported agriculture, the farmer’s market, and online shopping. This sustaining partnership between families and farmers is available year-round and offers a wide array of foods with which to stock your larder. You’ll find pasture-raised meats, organic produce, local cheeses and many other kitchen staples in their online marketplace. Their mission is to build community around food while providing support for Farmers and connecting families with the most nutrient dense food available.
They have a Pickup Site in our neighborhood at The Brookline Teen Center every Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:30pm.
Join in four simple steps:
– Choose from an abundance of farm fresh, peak season goods in their online marketplace
– Update your cart weekly or simply leave a standing order on file
– Gather your bags of food each Wednesday between 4:30 and 6:30 at The Brookline Teen Center on 40 Aspinwall Avenue
Head to Farmers To You to learn more and create a partner family account. All that’s required are a weekly order of $40 and an appetite for New England’s best foods.

NEW FAMILY WELCOME POINT PERSON:
Join Lawrence's New Family Welcome by being a first point of contact to families new to Lawrence. The welcome team is in search of 1 or 2 more members to help with school tours, showing new families around the school and answering any questions they may have. Tours currently occur one Tuesday per month at 8:15 (after drop-off) and one Thursday at 1:40 (before pick-up), so anyone who can commit to two or three of those per semester would be a big help! The welcome team would appreciate any help, but is seeking a middle school parent/caregiver, in particular, to add to the range of experience available to new families. Please email email@example.com to get involved.
