Did you know that Lawrence School Library contains more than 30,000 books that children and teachers are free to borrow?
With your help, our beautiful school library can continue to have the best new titles for children. Junior Library Guild (JLG), a company that helps librarians to identify the best books of the year, has set Lawrence School up with an easy and secure online form to collect donations for our library. Each donation, of any amount, large or small, will give us credit with JLG. Books from Junior Library Guild will supplement our growing collection and will ensure that we have the newest, best quality books available to the students and teachers at Lawrence School.
If you would like to donate in a teacher’s name or in honor of your child’s birthday, this is your opportunity! Just add a “message to the library” on the online form and Ms. Moriarty will create a bookplate with the name of the person you’d like to recognize.
Thank you for considering donating to our library!

NEW FAMILY WELCOME POINT PERSON:
Join Lawrence's New Family Welcome by being a first point of contact to families new to Lawrence. The welcome team is in search of 1 or 2 more members to help with school tours, showing new families around the school and answering any questions they may have. Tours currently occur one Tuesday per month at 8:15 (after drop-off) and one Thursday at 1:40 (before pick-up), so anyone who can commit to two or three of those per semester would be a big help! The welcome team would appreciate any help, but is seeking a middle school parent/caregiver, in particular, to add to the range of experience available to new families. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to get involved.
