We need your help making 1000 origami cranes for SET-J!

The “Sending Educators To Japan” program, which is funded by the PTO, has been sending Lawrence teachers to Japan since 2002.
Click here ( to learn more about SET-J.
This year, Ms. Terry Jewell (Literacy Specialist for Grades 3-5) is going to Japan in June.
Please help her bring 1000 origami cranes ,”Senbazuru” to present to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.
Senbazuru” means 1000 origami cranes, so we need to make 1000 cranes using origami (Color paper size 6×6 inch. Please don’t use the black color paper).
It’s a great chance to learn to make paper cranes with your kids!
Any amount is appreciated, please bring your origami cranes in the box at ELL on the 2nd floor by Feb. 22nd.
If you don’t have any origami, you can pick it up at ELL and make it at home.
