Brookline Warriors Girls Summer Clinic Led by head coach Allyson Toney and the rest of the Brookline Girls basketball coaching staff, we are excited to offer our 3rd annual Brookline Warriors Basketball Clinic for girls currently in grades 2-8.
Current and former BHS players will assist at the clinic. The clinic will focus on skill development such as dribbling, passing, and proper shooting. We will provide instruction for drills and workouts that each individual player can do on their own throughout the off-season to help them become better basketball players.
Clinic attendees will also learn about proper training techniques and nutrition from experts in these fields. We will once again be joined by educator and nutritionist Karlyn Grimes, who will discuss the importance of a healthy lifestyle for female athletes. We will also have strength and conditioning work-outs by BHS teacher and Crossfit instructor, Stephanie Hunt.
Join Lawrence's New Family Welcome by being a first point of contact to families new to Lawrence. The welcome team is in search of 1 or 2 more members to help with school tours, showing new families around the school and answering any questions they may have. Tours currently occur one Tuesday per month at 8:15 (after drop-off) and one Thursday at 1:40 (before pick-up), so anyone who can commit to two or three of those per semester would be a big help! The welcome team would appreciate any help, but is seeking a middle school parent/caregiver, in particular, to add to the range of experience available to new families. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to get involved.
