The Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Community Relations is attempting to asses civic engagement among Brookline residents and determine any barriers to participation that may exist. The survey addresses specific barriers around public meetings as well as giving residents the opportunity to list issues within the Town that they would like to be addressed. The survey can be taken here https://goo.gl/forms/bmc87VOyIqIhDEg73 or hard copies can be found in Town Hall, the Brookline Village Library, the Health Department and in other locations around Brookline. Please return all surveys to Attn: Caitlin Haynes at the Health Department Building, 11 Pierce St. Brookline, MA 02445. If you have any questions about the survey or where hard copies are located please contact Caitlin Haynes at email@example.com or at 617-730-2345.

NEW FAMILY WELCOME POINT PERSON:
Join Lawrence's New Family Welcome by being a first point of contact to families new to Lawrence. The welcome team is in search of 1 or 2 more members to help with school tours, showing new families around the school and answering any questions they may have. Tours currently occur one Tuesday per month at 8:15 (after drop-off) and one Thursday at 1:40 (before pick-up), so anyone who can commit to two or three of those per semester would be a big help! The welcome team would appreciate any help, but is seeking a middle school parent/caregiver, in particular, to add to the range of experience available to new families. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to get involved.
