2nd Annual Brookline Youth Climate Adaptation Challenge is sponsored by the Town of Brookline Department of Health and Climate Action Brookline.
It is a unique environmental science fair that celebrations art and sciences. Whether your youth enjoy math, science, art, social studies, poetry/writing, acting, engineering or other, they can strategically create something for this wonderful event. See flyer for details.
Last year all Brookline schools were represented. Let’s do it again this year! Youth can register as individuals, groups, as a class or school. We reached capacity last year – we will again this year.
Limited Space Available – 12 spots! Please share so your school can be represented!
All participants receive a Certificate – perfect for college applications for BHS students. Prizes also.
If you are interested in serving as a “Judge”, please let me know. See below for comments from last year’s event.
Thank you for supporting Brookline youth!

NEW FAMILY WELCOME POINT PERSON:
Join Lawrence's New Family Welcome by being a first point of contact to families new to Lawrence. The welcome team is in search of 1 or 2 more members to help with school tours, showing new families around the school and answering any questions they may have. Tours currently occur one Tuesday per month at 8:15 (after drop-off) and one Thursday at 1:40 (before pick-up), so anyone who can commit to two or three of those per semester would be a big help! The welcome team would appreciate any help, but is seeking a middle school parent/caregiver, in particular, to add to the range of experience available to new families. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to get involved.
