The Brookline Commission for Women will be holding its 12th Annual Dress for Success Winter Coat Drive on Friday, Nov 4th and Saturday, Nov 5th. Dress for Success is a not-for-profit organization that offers services to help disadvantaged women enter the workforce and stay employed. Each Dress for Success client receives one suit when she has a job interview and a week’s worth of separates when she gets the job.
Please limit your donations to winter coats. This is NOT a general clothing drive. All donations should be clean/ready to wear. Cash donations for the Dress for Success program will also be accepted. Coats not accepted by the Dress for Success program will be donated to other local organizations servicing those in need.
As with all our events, the Brookline Commission for Women is happy to accept nonperishable food donations for the Brookline Food Pantry.

Join Lawrence's New Family Welcome by being a first point of contact to families new to Lawrence. The welcome team is in search of 1 or 2 more members to help with school tours, showing new families around the school and answering any questions they may have. Tours currently occur one Tuesday per month at 8:15 (after drop-off) and one Thursday at 1:40 (before pick-up), so anyone who can commit to two or three of those per semester would be a big help! The welcome team would appreciate any help, but is seeking a middle school parent/caregiver, in particular, to add to the range of experience available to new families. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to get involved.
