If your costumes are in good shape, please consider donating them to the Halloween Costume Swap. Collections continue through next week for use in next year’s swap. If you like, you can sign the clipboard when you donate a costume to be eligible for a free costume next year! The Green Team thanks you for your help in reducing, reusing and recycling Halloween costumes. Questions? Contact Susan Helms Daley.

Many thanks to Bettina Neuefeind and all the volunteers who made the Food Day Festival so much fun! Everyone enjoyed the great food, and children learned about good nutrition and healthy eating.

Congratulations to the Lawrence Cross Country Team for a wonderful season! We are proud of all the runners for accomplishing their goals and having fun while getting fit. We had many acts of good character and sportsmanship throughout the season, which culminated at the town-wide meet October 17. Great job!

The Used Book Collection is going great — thanks so much to those who have donated. Note that because of limitations on space and time, and to keep the focus on affordable books, reading and literacy, we do not accept games, puzzles or other non-book items in the little green wagon. Thanks!

Have you checked out the Community Bulletin Board yet? Click on the link at the bottom of this newsletter to see listings for music lessons, adult cooking classes, Pilates classes, kids and adult yoga, babysitters and much more. Listings change frequently so check back often. If you are interested in posting, please email us for guidelines.

The School Directory is in the works and should be distributed in early November. Please remember that the School Directory and any other source of information coming from the school such as Class Contact Lists are NOT to be used for commercial purposes.
