Lawrence Special Activities (LSA)

Dear Lawrence School Families:

Lawrence Special Activities (LSA) is a parent-run, not-for-profit program, offering after school enrichment classes for Lawrence students. Any proceeds from our program help fund the PTO and directly benefit Lawrence School students.

LSA classes run seasonally – there are 3 sessions of classes during each school year (Fall, Winter and Spring), with some weeks of down-time in between each session.

During each session, classes are held after school on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 2:40 – 3:40 and from 3:40 – 4:40. Most classes are one hour long, so your child can sign up for one or two classes each day.

Registration is online – the LSA website is:

The PTO will send a reminder email when the enrollment period begins in September.

Our course offerings vary each session. Our goal is to provide a fresh and fun selection of courses every season, with enriching and enjoyable classes to suit the interests of every child.

Popular classes from past sessions include:

Sports; Karate, Parkour, Fencing, Basketball, Tennis;

Art: Pottery/Clay, Cartooning, Collage, Drawing, Painting;

Games: Chess, Lego, Math Games;

Crafts: Sewing (hand and machine), Beading/Jewelry making, Carpentry;

Computers: Video Game Design, 3D Printing, Minecraft;

Nature: Animal Experience, Birdwatching, Outdoor explorers;

Performance: Improv, Broadway Kids, Glee club;

The above list is to give you some idea of the classes that have been offered in the past – there is no guarantee that these exact classes will be available in September.

Please Note: We are a very small team and do not have people available to bring kindergarteners to their LSA classes. Parents of Kindergarteners MUST organize a way to get their children to and from LSA classes.

Thank you for your support!

The LSA Team
