The PTO seeks to support special projects and needs such as supplies or equipment that will directly benefit the Lawrence student body. Funding for Teachers and Staff
If you have a special project that you would like carry out to enhance the educational experience at Lawrence, you may apply for a grant.

For all reimbursements (for already-approved grants, classroom allocations, event expenses), please submit your request using the online PTO reimbursement form.
If you prefer paper, you may also download and print the PTO Reimbursement Form (copies are available in the PTO Mailbox). Fill it out completely, attach receipts (which must show payment and shipping confirmation), and drop it in the PTO Mailbox in the front office.
Reimbursements received by the 3rd Thursday of the month will be paid by the first Monday of the following month.
If you’re a teacher or staff, you may use your classroom allocation budget for supplies and equipment that benefit your students.
Funding for teachers and staff are allocated based on FTE amount. Currently, 0.8 to 1.0 is allocated $300. 0.4 to 0.7 is allocated $150. <0.4 is allocated $75. (Note that new full time classroom teachers receive $600 in their first year). Each vice principal is allocated $500. The ETF and Nurse’s office each receive $100.
The PTO Treasurer will periodically share the budget balance with teachers and staff.
$350 is allocated per classroom and may be used for things like bus expenses. (Note that Farm School has an additional separate budget)

The PTO has established funds for field trips, enrichment activities and classroom supplies/equipment (a.k.a. classroom allocations) that will support students and the learning experience. There is also a grants fund for supporting special initiatives.
Unused allocations are not roll d over to the following year.
